Stop Press: London literary agent joins the bill of Writers’ Day

We have a rather exciting last minute addition to the line-up of speakers at our upcoming publishing information day, ‘You’ve Written A Book: Now What?’.

Broo Doherty will bring the panel of speakers up to eight experts in the field of writing and publishing.

Broo graduated from Downing College Cambridge and then began a twenty-year career in publishing. Since then she has worked across the board in publishing houses and as an agent. Her authors include Amanda Jennings, Anna Jacobs, Alison Bruce and Stephen Moss.  She particularly enjoys crime, women’s commercial fiction, literary fiction and quirky non-fiction.  In 2013 she was voted Literary Agent of the Year by the Festival of Romance.

This is a must-attend event for anyone wanting to receive some expert advice and support about getting their work published. Due to such a positive response to the event, we have decided to extend the deadline for the early bird prices for 2 more weeks – book by midnight on 16th October for a reduced ticket price of £40 (£45 thereafter). To book, contact us on 01547 550377 or hello@bleddfacentre.org, or download the booking form here.
